After a very long journey home from Tanzania which started on the 21st & ended on the 23rd, I ended up sick. I am just now getting caught back up on life and ready to share some of my adventure to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to have had the most self-less team of people in the world, which includes some of my new Tanzanian brothers from Zara Tour Adventures, by my side.
To my core team, Joey, Johnathan, Juan, Mark & Ted… WE MADE IT!!!!!! Without each of you, my dream would have never became reality. Thank you for helping me #breakthestigma and for loving me, caring for me & literally abusing your own bodies for me to accomplish this goal!
Thank you to the entire Birdmine crew for capturing all of the moments… the good, the bad, the ugly and the magical ones I am thankful for each and everyone of you and the hard work you continue to do, to make a documentary that will change lives.
This by far, was the most physically & mentally challenging adventure I have ever been on. The hardest moments for me were the most important moments to reflect and remember my friends & loved ones who are no longer with us because of suicide, and to remember why I was there..
In the next coming days & weeks, I will be sharing lessons I learned on the mountain, that I think can help others who may be struggling to keep going. #yourlifematters
